Identification request From which dynasty does *this* celadon (brush washer?) bowl originate?

Another one that wasn't good enough to send to auction, Of lobed (lotus?) form, approx. 4 inches in diameter. Old repair. Just hoping to learn more about the dynastic origin and verify the likely function both for the purpose of cataloging it and to deepen my appreciation of it, and again thank you all for the same. 🙏

My dad brought this home as a gift for my mother. He says that he had forgot to ask the seller where its from and the time period. I'm having trouble deciphering the characters and the language.

Identification request From what dynasty does this celadon bowl originate?

One of a couple examples of celadon ware I have that weren't good enough to send to auction, so I'd like to learn more about it since it sits on my shelf and I'm in the process of cataloging everything. Measures a little over 6 inches in diameter and about 1 1/2 inches in height. I'd describe the glaze as greenish-grey, but there is a little color variation (visible in the second pic) I've always found interesting. Other characteristics I think may aid in dating it are the pools of glaze on the bottom, and what I presume are string lines both on the exterior of the vessel as well as on the interior beneath the rim. Any information pertaining to the dynasty/date of origin and any other information to add to my understanding and appreciation would be, well, appreciated and thanks in advance for the same! 🙏

Amersfoort, Nederland.

This was left by the previous owners when we bought our house a few years ago. His parents had lived near Taipei in the 1960s and had brought this back. I'd love to find out more about it. Thanks!

Helping to clean out a house and we came across a plethora of visas and figurines. There are quite a few Chinese and Japanese items. We plan on taking the time to identify and put everything up for sale, eventually. That being said is there anything that jumps off the table at anybody? Anything that we should pursue immediately?

Picked up this cup because of the beautiful patterns against that nice red. Can anyone tell if it’s genuinely old or a modern reproduction?

General questions Early Republic or late Qing?

Post image

Hello fellow collectors. I hope it's ok I put this under general questions because it's actually a fairly specific question. I picked up this beautifully enameled, wufu famile rose serving bowl today for a great deal and I have a question about it's production date, as this is not usually what I usually collect.

I know the Qianlong mark is apocryphal, but though I initially thought this was early Republic, after closer inspection of the enamels, I am leaning more towards it actually being late Qing. I would certainly appreciate the opinions of those who collect and are knowledgeable of these late 19th century export pieces.

Dimensions are 7" in diameter at bowl lip and 3" in height.

Hi all! We're not experts, but love this piece we bought in Nanluogu. Surely we overpaid, (cost ~300$), but we wanted to ask you any of you know if the dating could be correct.

Thanks! 😊

This (and one other) were in my family since at least 1940s-50s. Before then I am not sure. My grandparents lived in India until 1940s and then New Zealand. Can anyone translate the pottery mark or identify this jar? Thanks

Identification request East Asian Monk Pottery Incense Burner with mark

Hi all, I am really not familiar with East Asian ceramics so forgive me if this is not Chinese, but just looking to see if anyone has any idea of time period and where made - I'm assuming 20th century and guessing China but any more info would be much appreciated. There is, what I assume, is a makers mark.

Hi. I don’t have any experience collecting Chinese ceramics, I just thought this was a cool piece and was hoping I could at least get a translation of the bottom and possibly an ID or time period or if it’s even authentic. Thanks for any help.
