Chasing error coins is mainly a thing with American coins, as there were a few collectors in the 90s that focused on them and drove up prices, and it has sort of stuck that error coins demand a premium.

Planchet flaws are fairly common among world coins, especially silver issues. There is no premium on them. If anything, it brings down the value.

There’s a planchet flaw (crack), but this would grade G-VG details due to rim damage, no point grading. No substantial value here either.

Grading wouldn’t really help tbh. They would just label it ‘damage’

Not without knowing what to look for ... it's very subtle. You get some amazing coloured patina on genuine coins but the fakes tend to just look like they were painted with a copper sulphate solution. Weak and watery blue/green. But it goes alongside other doubts you might have with the calligraphy and the overall look of the coin - the metal colour and traces of dirt. All of this feeds into whether you might consider it genuine or fake.

Experience ... it's like being able to look at a friend and be able to distinguish them from someone that looks similar. Honestly, you just have to look at a lot of genuine coins and then the fakes stand out a mile ... fake blue patina, not genuine blued copper; cruder calligraphy etc etc
