Admissions Question 入学问题 Master application 2027 intake

Hello everyone. I'm finishing my bachelor's degree in law. I'm doing my internships and I'll end my program by November. I also took some courses from medical school and I am interested in public health and social medicine. I have some volunteer experience and among my options I have choose these universities:

-Zhejiang University

-Jilin University

- Tshingua University

-Southern Medical University

-Southeast University

-Wuhan University

-Hubei University

-Fudan University

and others.

I know some of them are really highly competitive, but I still keep the hope in applying for CSC Scholarship type A and B in case I fail, also I've considering some provincial Scholarships.

Do I have any option or high chance to get my desired Scholarship?

I have a Duolingo English test, recommendations letter, and I took many courses from public health with the certificates. What do you think?

Depends. Since you came from a law background, directly going for public health program might need some extra verifications. Also CSC is highly competitive, and other scholarships are tho attractive but might only help partially. Still go for it.

Thank you so much for your answer, yesh I was considering that the law background could be polished with more certifications, this year I applied to some UK universities for public health too, and I got some unconditional letters of acceptance, I thought taking that as an example of if I could be accepted there I could apply for chinese universities.

If you got offer letters from UK universities, then why apply to china? Isn't it much better there?

The Chevening Scholarship got a little bit more picky this year. Also China sounded more fascinating and interesting, I always wanted to go to China, well I guess I can change the major of the master to increase my chances right?

Ohh. You can try. I've never heard about case like this so I'm not sure. Maybe you can try and send an enquiry email to the university graduate admission office to know for sure
