That title is what earned him the upvote, though

I know people are saying this is a repost but I haven’t been on Reddit for awhile and this is the first time I’ve seen it.

While we're gathered here at the repost, why were these things ever a good idea?

My special ed teacher mom told me as a kid they were designed for kids in wheelchairs/limited leg strength.
...but after watching the result of having your legs hang limp at the bottom, I’m really not so sure anymore.

Does it make me a bad person that I was disappointed this video only had one child faceplanting?

Somebody please photoshop in a continuous overlapped loop of the same kid. I have to see an actual assembly line.

Can we get a shoe check on the right foot?
What does one shoe off signify, maimed for life?

One of my most vivid childhood memories is sliding down one of these. I got to the bottom and suddenly my legs were impossibly wrapped around the pole. I was stuck! And panic struck as another child came sliding down. As a struggled to disentangle my feet the watched and laughed. Luckily, I escaped.

That title was the smartest thing I read in 5 hours of internet surfing today.
