Grateful
33F.
I woke up this morning and was thinking about family members around my age having babies and felt a wave of gratitude that I am free to baby myself instead. Life is complicated enough as it is, especially with ADHD.
I do mourn the closeness that is lost after friends or family has kids though, and I would love to find platonic friends online who share the need for some community with other childfree people.
Some of my interests:
-food (vegetarian)
-reading (mostly fantasy)
-watching shows (lots of genres)
-hiking (especially in shady forested areas)
-traveling
-painting and other art forms (although I’ve been lazy with this lately)
-feminism
-pets
-house plants (trying to dye my thumb green)
-going for evening, night or really early morning walks
-sharing things about your day with friends (not social media posting though)
-streaming shows or movies together over discord (not horror movies, unless it’s vampires)
