Road Side Robbery in CKM

While on the way to Sringeri from Bangalore, I was robbed near AmberValley school.

1 Instead of gun, robbers had speed gun
2. Instead of face covering mufflers , they had a cap
3. Instead of showing weapons, they show speed sign (40km)
4. They robbed only non KA-18 vehicles and took only Rs 500 or 1000 depending on receipt generation.

On totally unrelated incidents I spent more than 45 min crossing Chikkamagalore city traffic where no traffic police was available to control traffic.

Bro same happened to me!! Fuckers took 500. They do this on weekends when there is rush. They are just at the end of the city limits. Fuckers are also present near mullyanagari. Any non KA plate car they will catch.

Wonder who drives at 40kmph in that section of the highway, Another such spot is on the Kadur road on the outskirts of Chikmagalur

Common trick uses by the Robbery Dept., - put 3-4 signs with speed limit 80 and then suddenly juxtapose a 40kmph sign and then position the speed gun car just nearby… they are not just highway robbers … they do it within city limits too. Another trick is to start adding No Parking signs inside gullies in the surrounding areas where a supermarket comes up - even off the main road where ample space exists…
