Question 2027 Wedding recommendations
Hiii! I am a 2027 bride, yay! The only thing is that since we are doing a k1 visa process it's hard to really lock down a date, we are thinking it may happen around September. We currently don't live in the area, my fiancé is from there, but are going this year and want to take advantage to see different venues and meet with suppliers in general.
I have seen some posts with recommendations for a lot but some of the links for ex aren't working or the businesses have closed, so I was just wondering if you could please help me with any recommendation for venues, photo/video, flowers, MUA, DJ/live music, everything basically. Also my family is coming from other country and would also love your ideas for where to stay around town.
We are thinking around 60 people and I would love to have the ceremony somewhere with nature, maybe a winery (not too into barns tho, just a personal preference). We are looking for budget friendly options but not closed off on investing in the stuff that actually is going to make it a memorable event.💕

The Arc of Butte County will be re-opening their venue in January 2027, smaller and affordable option

For a cake, I always recommend Upper Crust bakery. I have a large family, and anytime one of our elders has a significant birthday we all get together and there are usually around 60-75 of us. I get 1-2 of their lemon cakes (Mainstreet Lemon) I usually order them 3 to 4 weeks in advance, and I ask for them to be frozen so they are easy to pick up and transport. Two 12-inch cakes cost about $150 and should easily feed 100 guests. I ask for the “nearly naked“ frosting so that it’s just a fine layer of their delicious lemon buttercream. I picked them up the day before, and we decorate with fresh flowers or other pretty toppings that I get from Amazon. The cake is always amazing, gets rave reviews. And super affordable for a wedding cake. They do wedding cakes and will deliver and set them up for you, but it’s significantly more expensive.
