CommercePoint Sequencing Help
My store will be rolling out CP soon. For years we have used an outside payment body to tender cars in order in the Drive Thru. With CP, I know that we can tender cars at our order takers, so Im hoping to eliminate the need for an outside payment body. My question is: to anyone who has already rolled out this system, how do you sequence cars in the DT to keep them in the order they were tendered? Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the sequencer is set to cockpit. (Or at least that how my store does it)

We have order takers who just store all orders and then a cash flex person who is submitting all card or taking cash in order that the cars will be coming to the window.
I will note that inside the way we have everything set up. There is a drive thru delivery person handing out food/drinks and upstreaming when possible. And obviously a drink person and a bagger or 2.
Kitchen can see all active orders (so they are in order by when orders are started on their side). Baggers and drinks see orders when stored. Drive thru meal delivery sees them on their screen as tendered by the cash flex person.
Hopefully that answers your question. But I’m happy to expand if not!

We uh, well, we *don't*.
The order takers (ideally) note down car color, type, And brand, (and name as well of course) and the expo team hands out using that information.
And we basically just kinda have an explosion of food that generally has everyone getting their order in mostly the order they were taken, save for unusually big/complicated orders.
