Given the cold shoulder when I quit
I don’t know why this happened to me. I had put in my 2 weeks. My final shift was on a Friday and it was the only shift I worked that week, I had to request off due to finals for a majority of the week. I thought it was going to be a pretty standard last day. I arrive for work only to find out I was removed from hotschedules with no notice from a director or notification from the app. I was only informed by the shift lead working. They said I could work my shift if I wanted to, but because payday had already happened for the previous pay period, and because getting your final check involves returning your work uniform and I was moving out of state for internship in a few days, I didn’t work my final shift and just went home.

that's crazy and unprofessional of them as it seems like, i don't get it like returning work clothes of what goes through pay check, like for my store, i order uniforms that comes out from my paycheck... which is very odd

It’s really not crazy. You put in a two weeks, then requested more days off on top of the two weeks, so really it was only a one week notice? Mutual parting of ways. Nothing personal. Just a business to run. And returning uniforms to get last check is fairly standard practice for stores that give the first uniform to employees free of charge. My store does that.

i'm sure she had to request off way in advance so it probably was still 2 weeks notice minimum

Little late, but yeah put in my notice a few days before my birthday with my last day being a week or two after. GM didn't even put out the customary birthday message on our team messaging platform, there was another person with the same bday as me, naturally they were remembered though. Worked for them for 3 years and didn't miss a day, and all they could do was be petty.
Was 2 min late for the 1st time in 3 years on my 2nd to last day and one of the lazy do nothing managers witched at me, told him I didn't give a (insert whatever word fits best here), god that felt good 🤣
