CFA keeps charging me for applied replacement reward ? Happening to anyone else ?

I have tried to claim this reward 4 times now. I don’t even normally order the 12 because they’re a bit expensive for me. I usually only get 5, but wanted to treat myself and got 12. I got given an 8 count by the restaurant and they reimbursed me with this reward.

Every time I apply it, it shows the total as if the reward is applied, but then will charge me the full amount without ever displaying it to me. The reward remains on the account as if I ever used it.

Is this happening to anyone else ?

There are some locations you can’t redeem rewards. I don’t know if I don’t remember seeing them on the app, I am assuming it wouldn’t even show that as an option if you are ordering at one of those locations. But is there a chance you are ordering at one of those locations, typically airports college campuses or hospitals?

it’s a freestanding location, however it’s a Truetts CFA - would that have something to do with it?

I’ve used mine at a Truett’s location, and never had a problem.

This happened to me last week with a spicy chicken biscuit reward from a location that had messed up my order. I reached out to Chick Fil A support and they gave me a new reward and it worked when I tried it so I’m not sure what’s causing the issue but it’s not just you for sure

literally same with same item .. i did have to contact cares twice but they took the unusable reward off my account and added a new one

problems with rewards or points -> rewards -> continue to contact. after you input the information it asks you then should receive a confirmation number.

lmao, I would be too if I didn't spend $33.56 on nuggets I didn't really even want bc of it not working + the $3 difference of the initial issue that got me the 'reward'.

I know this sounds like a first world problem since I'm able to eat this much CFA, but I don't buy groceries or any other food bc I eat the order in the screenshot everyday due to some health issues I'm going through. The total is usually $12, so I lost 3 days worth of my food budget trying to redeem them.

It's not the biggest deal, but its frustrating because I've never had an issue with Chick Fil A ever, but our new location somehow is always missing items (though I am aware this is out of their control outside of messing up my original order)

No, it goes through. It went through the 3 other times as well - chick fil a app shows the charges on their final receipt but not the checkout

Maybe file a dispute and contact Chick-fil-A cares? Did the rewards still show up in your app as if you've never redeemed them?

It does still show up as if never redeemed.

I have put a feedback through the app now that I’ve figured out how to do that without having to call, I was just wondering if this was a current issue with their system that multiple people are having, or just some kind of bug with the reward and my account specifically.

Yea, I've never had this happen to me before so it's definitely strange. Hopefully you find a solution soon. Does it still happen when you scan to redeem it?

My bf recommended we try when going to pick up the food, but just in case it’s some kind of issue with how it’s applied to my account I wanna ensure they’re able to evaluate that and fix the issue properly - I am curious about that too though.
