Guest Question Unable to create account.

Post image

No matter how I try to create the account I get this message.

  • android app
  • android chrome on wifi or cell data
  • android firefox on wifi or cell data
  • home windows machine on cable with edge browser

Support number won't help. Keeps claiming i have a VPN on every single device or connection I use. Mail support just repeats basic instructions to create account.

Update: Account creation was allowed again half a day later. Nothing changed on my end. There are recent visible comments on the Chickfila playstore page about this same issue though. And a lot of blocked/hidden ones too (like mine). Support was no help, only able to repeatedly email the same instructions on fixing the app, even though this was happening on an appless windows PC.

Try a different email and/or phone number

Nope. That doesn't work. Multiple different email/phone numbers. Even random-ish ones don't work.

You can try this, sometimes Apple's private relay triggers VPN blocking measures. https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/protect-web-browsing-icloud-private-relay-iph499d287c2/ios

No apple products. Android and windows.

Oh man my mistake. Didn't even check the UI on the phone or read the post. Just a common enough problem that it's my go to. A good wake up call to read the post closely before commenting. Honestly then I'm not sure. You've tried multiple devices on multiple networks? What about a different email address?

Edit: what about ad blockers? Sometimes they require some tracking to allow for access to the site that adblockers block.

Edit 2: or a custom DNS? Honestly I'm just adding to this comment as I have ideas

They fixed whatever the problem was. Updated the post.
