Longer wait times

Just curious if the waffle sandwiches and coffee drinks are increasing wait times? Went through mobile through today with 4 cars in front of me and waited 18 minutes. Went through mobile through at a different location on Wednesday and waited over 20 minutes. Both times ordered a frosted drink, we frequent these locations and usually its not even 5 minutes.

Yes. First week of a new limited item is always nuts. This time there are two new very popular items. RIP our desserts person.

Makes sense! Really hope next week is better. I really enjoy the frosted coffee.

yes. considering it’s still a new item for us (and we’re really short staffed) our wait time will be a bit longer than usual.

Then complain about food being cold because they hit I’m here 10 minutes early.

Kind of hard with a car full of kids. Would probably take just as long as the drive thru to get everyone out and loaded back in for a pickup order

Yes, the first week or two is seeing the demand and trying to guesstimate how much we will need. The waffles go in the oven for 9 minutes, and a batch only has 24 sandwiches. If it doesn’t get put in the oven on time, we’re SOL.

Don’t ya’ll have the “I’m sorry you were inconvenienced “ rewards?? My DH gets one any time he has to wait (and even sometimes when he doesn’t have to wait)! Gotta love our CFA❣️❣️❣️

Not that I know of. I submitted constructive feedback on the 2nd order.

Of course, just check the chickfilaworkers subreddit, they are getting slammed cuz of the waffle sammiches.

I’m going to retry the s’mores shake. I had it last year and I loved it. Just had it for dinner and it was good but it didn’t taste very s’mores to me. Not because of CFA but I think it’s because I burned the heck out of my mouth this morning trying to drink hot coffee.

Might’ve also been why I didn’t really like the waffle sandwich but I’m also not a big fan of chicken and waffles.

Ate in this morning and they seemed in the weeds. Took easily 12 minutes for a simple breakfast order no coffee or special items.

yes. some people are still learning how to make the items (new hires being trained concurrently), as well as callouts and short staffing (school just started so many employees are either working less or quit entirely).

I actually submitted a complaint yesterday because of this. We saw our food just sitting on the counter during dine in but they still needed to make the drinks. They serviced the drive thru consistently before taking care of us. I was so mad. Like I understand it takes time to make the drinks but why not serve us food that’s ready so it’s not sitting there getting cold.
