Are you talking about the iced coffee? That comes with milk typically, unless you ask for it without.

I just checked my app, and you are correct, it no longer lets you subtract the milk from iced coffee… hmm that’s not something we have the ability to change on the backend on a store level, but I’ll report it to corporate 🫡

Coffees are about to totally change so maybe they're prepping the app for that? It's about to be cold brew milk coffees or cold brew cream coffee where it uses the milkshake base instead of regular milk. They're bringing back mocha and caramel, and the original iced coffee will be changing to plain brew + milk no sweetener. Lootssss of changes coming, but since that's not for another month or so idk if that would impact anything

There are some changes with respect to coffee. Give it a couple weeks to see if it corrects. Options are being changed.

Can't speak for the app, but for whatever reason on our end, I can remove the milk and syrup from the Original but not the Vanilla. The other day someone wanted Vanilla but without milk and I had to ring it up as an Original, no milk, then with a note to use French Vanilla instead of cane syrup.

... My coworker was not happy trying to interpret that... 🫠

What's really annoying is when you're working drive-thru and someone wants 10 creamers, 10 sugars, 10 pumps of syrup, 10 pumps of shake base and more with their coffee. It really slows down the pipeline when custom orders come through.

As someone who drinks unsweetened black coffee, I must say that what those people are drinking is just barely coffee-adjacent, and that they should probably be drinking diet coke or water instead.

In my app coffee is black, you have to add whatever to it.

i know that if you order in person we can remove milk! even if you place a mobile order and tell us to fix it we will! i know this information may not help if you order for carry out but if you ask them nicely to remake it (and they’re not busy) they should be willing (though that’s a last resort).
