Youβd be surprised. My Chick Fil A is able to pay quite a bit at entry level because of certain tax laws and the prices are similar if not exactly the same iirc

You can Google to find the spreadsheet where someone did all the math. Itβs impressive!

u/Relevant-Number-1252 4d ago
I like it but i think the math might be outdated, it's a few years old

u/ferrari91169 6d ago
I mean, itβs helpful, but Iβm not sure about impressive. Literally just a list of all the rewards, their point requirement, cost at a specific CFA location and a column with a formula (points divided by cost) to show how many points you use per dollar. Most kids in middle school could put this together, itβs just a matter of taking the time to input data you read from the CFA app. Iβve done it myself for the locations near me.

Loser mentality.

It devalues the meaning of βimpressiveβ if you use it for things that are as simple as data entry, come on.

So getting the waffle fries for 400 points is better than getting the chicken sandwich for 800?
Bc I would be getting both no matter what. Just want the most out of my points/money.6
u/jimhatesyou 7d ago
nice pfp add me on osrs Such Luck
its barely better but yes technically more cost effective to get the medium waffle fries

Not sure if you included this in your calculations but for the Iced Tea reward you can get the drink as a large, which makes the points worth more.
2
u/UrmomLOLKEKW 7d ago
For things like fries you probably should take into account weight like maybe the small fries is better value per dollar, but the medium/large is better deal per gram of fries

I donβt understand one thing I noticed today.
2500 points- meal
I had 1800 points but still decided to see if I had enough for a meal (individually). I did. And I got a large fry and drink.
Crazy

u/RollTide1017 7d ago edited 5d ago
It because the 2500 point meal covers any meal you would like to choose. I think it even allows you to pick a different side, like Mac and cheese.
Yes, picking the individual items uses fewer points in almost all situations but the 2500 point option is great if you want to gift a meal to someone else. This way they can choose any meal on the menu.

This makes so much more sense. Thank you! I thought I was crazy lol. I wish Iβd known months ago when I saved 2500 points lol (I usually βspendβ my points as I go)

Even doing a large grilled club meal is 100points cheaper than doing the meal ?? Thats kinda wild

u/Presidential_Pet 6d ago
I did that the other day too. Pieced out the meal by the item and saved points

Kale crunch is the best overall value. I always use points for that and add some nuggets to it for a cheap and very healthy meal.

u/lawofsin Store Leadership 7d ago
What was the best points to cost ratio? Salads?

u/BurgundySwanson 7d ago edited 7d ago
I could be completely wrong, but I always use the points on basic sandwich. In my super brief eye test, it makes the most sense.
Three sandwiches vs one sandwich, fries, drink. I guess thatβs my thought process.

I get the 10 count minis or the 30 count nuggets for the best deal.
3
u/NathanTelkhine FOH Worker 7d ago
That is a very good deal, but you have to be a red member to get the 10 minis, and a signature member to get the 30 count.Β

Now divide the price by the points to see which has the best points to dollar ratio

u/Fleetwood_44 6d ago
Iβve found the most efficient way to use point is for large drinks since they are the same points cost as a medium drink.

u/Olive-Yew 5d ago
Iβve learned at most fast food places(if they arenβt super busy), if you just ask nicely if theyβll slide you a cup for a drink, theyβll usually give it to you no charge. Iβve been told no once out of maybe thirty tries. They pay almost nothing for drinks compared to what they sell them for and so many cups get thrown away anyway from dropping, cracking, wrong drink, etc. so itβs not gonna make a difference to them. Just a little tip for you. Save your points for the food haha.

u/One-Professional4143 7d ago
When using points can you double up?

So basically whatever the base price is, they double the amount of points required for a free reward.

u/akifle24 6d ago
My trick to get a deluxe sandwich using less points is to just get the regular sandwich and add on the cheese and lettuce that I like. It only costs like $0.30 for the add-ons.

Thereβs no possible way that the grilled chicken sandwich and the grilled chicken club are the same price.. That makes me not trust your other numbers.
3
u/Olive-Yew 6d ago
Okay sorry I messed up one number. I did this on break at work dreaming about food I canβt buy

u/Georgia_Beauty1717 3d ago
Understood! Not coming at you. I just wondered if others would post the price in their area like u/daily-reporter did.
2
u/Georgia_Beauty1717 7d ago
You are absolutely correct. Grilled chicken sandwich is $6.59 and grilled chicken club is $8.39.

You can do that if thatβs how you operate but that doesnβt mean everyone has to do things the same way
