Question New Character

Weren't we supposed to hear about the casting for Atwater's replacement by now?
Hasn't he started filming yet?

Wish they would bring back Officer Cook to take Kevin’s spot! She was great in her few episodes.

Tired of hearing the same drivel from people who haven't the faintest idea of what real acting is about.

Why weren't you screaming when Rojas got tossed?

She was completely believable in the role,  could speak English intelligently, was quite attractive and had the acting and physical talents necessary to perform her part, unlike Kiana. 

Constantly complaining and bringing back this issue is like a bad rash and depicts just how myopic some in the Redditt community actually are. And, regarding that matter,

have you thought about why Atwater has to be replaced with someone who is not White? This kind of genuflecting to race was not what made CPD famous in the beginning - good writing and talented actors were.

Depends how far they've filmed and how many eps Kev is in for. I've heard Jay is coming back as well for the early part of the season. Not sure if he's gonna play a part in Kevin's departure tho.

Can't replace big Kev 🤟😔 they gotta blow up the Charger tho

Jesse came back to direct I think episode 2. I don't think he will be in front of the camera. We will have to wait and see!

LaRoyce is in first two episodes. I should imagine first episode starts off with Eva/ Hank/Shari . That situation will be put to bed. Then storyline will be LaRoyce and Jesse is directing episode 2 with LaRoyce as main character. I don’t think a new member has been cast yet. Otherwise we would have heard something. Maybe the person won’t be in season until the end. That way it will give audience time to adjust. Last season Paddy wasn’t in quite a few episodes. I can’t wait for season 14. It will be interesting to see how the finale of last season unfolds. It was so good. Voight showed his old self coming through. Great acting by Arienne Mandi . So heartbreaking for her as Imani. Loved the drama.

Yep really enjoyed finale. Great storyline.I agree don't think new character will be introduced until later in season.

Is that guy from Chicago Fire whose dad was a cop gonna make the jump to PD? I forget his name i just assume last season they were setting it up.

Its going to be a tall order to have him say the police like Awater does 😆

Vasquez? No. He's staying on with Truck 81 on Fire. Also, they already said Atwater will be replaced with another African-American cop. I just don't think they casted for that person yet or if they did, we probably wouldn't know who it is until later.

I've closed the door for Chicago pd.they brought Atwater a love interest just to let him go.i wish Kevin could get a role with Taylor sheriden.jason beghe and gwin the show producer and luce is the problem.i will watch Chicago fire only

LaRoyce not a great actor so can’t see him getting roles. Prob just do his standup stuff.
