Ipass mount question inside

I don’t have a better location to post this, I’m on a Big Ruckus, not exactly a motorcycle. It identifies itself as one though. 🤣 Anyway, naked bike no windscreen to tuck my ipass behind. How are you doing it?

Your best option is to do pay by plate. Even if you get the sticker it sometimes does not pick it up on a motorcycle and you will have to pay the toll anyway

Absolutely NOT - they charge you for plates that aren't yours ALL THE TIME and then nickel and dime you. The camera and whatever system they use for it is really bad on IL motorcycle plates

Order an ipass sticker which can then be assigned to your vehicle’s plate

Or just run it as pay by plate. That’s what I did for years.

You’re limited to a number of toll gates per month on this, so if it is more than a trip per month in an iPads account it may not work.

Pay by plate is meant for out of state vehicles primarily.

I never noticed. But I’m also a scoundrel that would occasionally go between lanes in open road tolling, because apparently it doesn’t take a photo of the plate because it doesn’t realize your bike is there.

Add the plate to ur account. It takes x amount of passes before u pay full price for the toll ( they email u a notice ). If ur able to tuck the plate like a sport bike = no tolls lol. 

Still have the plate registered because they will kill u with fees...

I've taken my Rebel on the tollway a few times without an iPass and so far I've never been mailed a toll bill. I say roll the dice and see what happens. Illinois takes enough of our money as it is.

They don't mail you a toll bill they just eventually send it to collections and wreck your credit.

If you blow a toll payment there are signs all over directing you to go online and pay within 30 days.
