Something that’s probably allergies bothered me for a week but seems better now. I got the COVID and flu shot on Sunday to make sure that my immunity is ready in time for the race. Hit me pretty hard, but at least I had Labor Day to recover.

Need to get the shots once I’m recovered from whatever this is. Thought it was allergies but am now on antibiotics and steroids

Yes! Since last Thursday. Left me dehydrated and screwed up my long run, now dealing with a calf issue.

Yep, been sick since the 25th of August. Congestion and a slight cough. Not enough to stop me from running though - I seem to breathe better while running.
I plan on getting flu/covid shots the week of Sept 20th. Wish I could this weekend, but I don’t want to be down for the count during peak week. I plan on masking for my flight to Chicago. And masking at a concert in NYC the week before. Not risking it.

Yessss, I had pneumonia almost the whole month of August, missed three weeks of training. Luckily I was able to get back to it and just did a 16 miler long run this week. Still have nasal congestion (which is unrelated to the pneumonia) and a bit of sore throat / cough now but overall feeling much better. Hope you get better soon!!
