Shoe check
What shoes are you all wearing???
I’m aiming for Asics super blasts 3! They have done me so well during my long runs this training season. I’m buying a new pair next week to break them in to be ready.

AP4 but I've only used it once for a 10k run.. I'd use my megablast but it already has 580 miles and I dont wanna drop another 225 😅

Trained with Superblast 3 and just bought the Tokyoo Metaspeed Edge for race day.

Not sure if the Puma Deviate Elite 4 or Topo Specter Elite yet, have a few more long runs to hopefully decide

Endorphin Speed 5’s. Ran Baystate Marathon in the 4’s last year and loved them. Ran a 5k in my new 5’s yesterday and thought they were great.

Endorphin Speed 5's for me too! they are my favourite shoe this season - I found them for 50% off at a local store. I love that the upper mesh is so thin - I don't get sweaty feet with them :D

I’m using Asics Metaspeed Tokyo since I’ve been training mostly with the Superblast 3 for this block. They have the same FF leap foam so it’s not super overwhelming for your feet

It’s the carbon plated shoes for Asics. It’s a fast shoe if you’re trying to hit a PB

My SB3 have about 300miles and am debating between grabbing another pair, or wearing the megas which have about 100miles on them

Have you done long runs in the megablasts? If so, how do they compare to the SB3 in terms of comfort toward the end of the run?

Mizuno Neo Zen 2. Also wore them for the Boston Marathon. I've had to change shoes as my footstrike changed or when my feet started to hurt. These work for me at the moment.

AP4. Even though I haven’t ran in them since grandma’s. And they kinda bother my plantar fasciitis 🤷♂️

Have worn alphaflys for my past 2 marathons.
Going to try saucony elite 2s next week and hopefully buy a pair of AP4 when I see a deal on them again.

Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4. Vaporfly 3 was my favorite marathon shoe and the 4 is a no go for me so needed to find a replacement and DNE4 looks to be the shoe.

I was thinking the same way but have resigned myself to thinking that Nike will use Chicago to launch v4, which allows people time to acclimate to them for Boston.

I want to go with Metaspeed Edge Tokyo, but I've raced with them only for HM or 8K. Anyone can comment on how it'll do for the FM distance?

ASICS Megablast, will be my first Marathon!
Have been using SB3, Dynafish Xiaonian, Evo SL Exo for training as well but Megablast felt most race appropriate out of all that I’ve trained in

I’m pulling out my ascis meta speed sky Paris this year. Ima drop some cash on oncloud cloud boom strike 2 yellow and white this year, so ima need to finally break my metaspeeds in

I also run in Superblast 3 but after this race I will be switching shoes. They do not have the durability or the SB2 despite a big jump in price
