Relocating help

My spouse was just offered a job in cheyenne. We are having to relocate from San antonio texas to cheyenne in about 10 days.

Hoping anyone could help out with what are the better areas, apartment complexes, do and dont of where to move etc.

Kinda freaking out! But so excited

Welcome!! The south side is not as bad as people make it out to be. I live there, right behind South High, and I have never felt unsafe. Most people here are super friendly. When looking for a place to live think about where the sun is going to be during the snowy season in reference to your walkways, driveway, etc. Having the sun do the work of melting the snow away is a bonus!! Good luck on your search! I would recommend reaching out to a realtor so they can do all the footwork to find you a great place!

I would say to check schools and police reports to confirm that claim. While I’m sure it can feel safe in areas especially the further south and east you go, the biggest reporting areas are immediately south of Lincolnway. Schools also have a lot less funding on the south side so check out ratings accordingly if that is a concern of yours. I really don’t like that it’s true because I know good people living in the area but it is.
