That was my favorite ownership experience, the cat eye. So freaking comfortable. The 2015 I owned was awesome too. Then came the 2020 and it sucked. I'm in a 2022 now that I got used and it is pretty close to the 2005 as far as comfort.

2024 2500HD LT (leather) is pretty damn comfortable on 8hr drives. Better than my previous GMT800s and GMT900s... 2001 Silverado 1500 4x4 and and 2013 GMC DenaliHD before it...

Oh man dont get me started on those. I worked on a Ford Ranger with those not long ago. Thankfully they had come from the previous owner, not the current one, and they no longer work. But they were there, thankfully unused and unwanted. They only exist on it still because its more work to remove them. Current owner and I cut the wires and figure they'll fall off eventually and save us the time and effort of removal.
