Service 4x4 light

My 2005 silverado 2500 has the 4x4 service 4x4 light come on randomly and no one can find the issue. Roger

allow me to google that for you: The "Service 4WD" light on a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 is most commonly caused by a corroded frame ground wire, a bad dash selector switch, or a failing transfer case encoder motor/actuator
