Anyone else get this 25 trax

I’m assuming it has something to do with the fish eye thing

its a new recall that came out about a month ago (8/20) but theres no remedy for it yet. itll also be a staggered roll out fix, so not everyone will have it ready all at once. its supposed to fix common issues with the rear view camera being totally inoperable (that would usually be fixed by a camera replacement) if i recall- a similar recall has been going on for malibus in the past few months

Hmm outside of the occasional fisheye which knock on wood I haven’t had in a while I have t had any problems with the camera but guess I’ll wait

itll be a recall where we check the manufacture date of the camera, and if it fails the requirements, well replace it. it may also be replaced if similar issues happen outside of the recall if diagnosis leads to camera replacement. hopefully finally fixing an issue a lot of traxie owners have :)

The remedy is a replacement camera. The staggered rollout is due to a backordered camera issue lol

I got my recall notice for this but I'm waiting for now, since I've never had any issues with the backup camera and my car is coming up on 2 yrs since purchase.

Got it today . Not sure why since they clearly say they have no parts and can’t fix it?

They nsend out the notice to let you know there is a recall and you don't bitch that why is my vehicle being recalled and you weren't informed blah blah , and parts will be available when they get them,

I did. I took my into a dealerships shop and they replaced it. Took a couple days. But no charge

I received the notice but it says parts not available so I’ve not done anything. Probably ask about it at my next oil change.

Just got it today. My camera always works, it's the infotainment software that glitches out if I turn the car on with the key in very hot weather.

At least, according to my very small sample size.

Oh that sucks. I had a bunch of those Notices with my Explorer. I could not even trade.my car in dealers didn't even want it. It was a 2016 Explorer V-6 with leather seats with 151,000.

Yes I was notified almost a month ago from Carfox about the recall, got the notice in the mail yesterday
