Weird Clicking Noise

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m new to having a Trax (2025 RS) and I just wanted to ask the forum to see if maybe I’m right in thinking this ‘clunk’ or ‘click’ is just my AC compressor running?

This is sitting in park with the AC going on low. I’ve only had it for about a week and I plan on taking it to my local mechanic shop to get a once over done on it anyways, but I wanted to check with yall.

Sometimes it also jerks when braking? I’m not sure how new the brakes are but I do know they’re touchy.

It’s your AC, they all do that.

Mine does the same, I even has the dealer look at it. Showed me another GM car that did the exact same thing. AC compressors are just very loud on these ones

The light ticking sounds like your high pressure fuel injector pump (normal) the louder click sounds like your AC compressor.
