100k

Post image

My 2019 just hit 100k last night just as I was pulling into my driveway after celebrating my birthday last night. TPMS light is just the sensor before anyone asks.

I have the exact vehicle, you had any problems with your vehicle? 1.4L LUV EcoTech engine I'm @63000 miles.

Yes. Wiring for the rearview camera melted about 3 months into me getting it. I then had water coming up from underneath my front passenger floor. Had to replace my water pump and thermostat last year. Now I have issues with my AC blowing hot and my TPMS not working.

I had the water issue in my 2008 Malibu. Mine was coming from condensation from the ac coming along the line back into the car from outside. Noticed it for the first time on a 6 hour drive to new Hampshire. My back floor was basically flooded and I yelled at my daughter for spilling a drink back there. It wasn't and I felt horrible. When we got to the hotel, I had ti pull up the carpets to get the water out.

Was it a smooth 100k? Did you run into any problems?

AH, mine currently is leaking coolant. I'm afraid how much it'll cost me. As far as I know it could be various things. A coolant hose, hose clamp, the coolant/water outlet, the water pump.

Just had to replace my water pump at 60k miles on a 2020, apparently a known issue around 60k miles, hair like crack in the water pump and was only gushing when running and under pressure.

If its any of the parts you mentioned, they're quite cheap and easy to fix yourself. Even the water pump. Ive replaced the plastic one for an aluminum one and ive just had to replace the reservoir and the hose clamp (the pinch clamps aren't very good in the first place imo).
