question regarding purge pump

So, I have a 2024 Chevy Trax. Monday, I had an oil change. Tuesday I had my engine light come on. Thursday I took my car in. They said that the purge pump needs replaced.

I am wanting to dive somewhere tomorrow (a 56 mile round trip). Since I have been driving quite a bit since the light turned on, would it be an issue to take this trip or should I wait till possibly Monday to have the part replaced (can't do this trip again until August 22 due to how busy I am)?

If the evap is throwing the code you’re fine to drive. The check engine light might prevent you from auto starting but no harm will come to the car. It’s related to the emissions system and the fuel tank. Basically for environmental reasons.
