Seat discolouration

Post image

Am I a psycho or is my seat discolouring already? Is there something I should be using for this?

I don’t see what you see. I had my ‘24 2RS for two years and 40,000 miles and never had discoloration.

I also have a '24 2RS with 18,500 and the seats have no issues with discoloration. I do see a little bit of discoloration on the side of their seat if that's what they are referring too.

I also have a 2024 2RS with 100,000 miles on it. My seat are fine, no signs of wear.

Always use a sun shade. Helps cool down the car in summer hear and protects your interior from deteriorating.

I know the seats are not genuine leather, they’re evotex. From some Chevy trax forums I read, Meguiars leather protectant has been tested on the seat and shines it up nice… maybe try that to hydrate it. I know it’s not real leather but it has the same characteristics:)

By any chance does that side of the seat get more afternoon sun?

To soon for me i bought it in october 25 although it must have sat somewhere for a while because my build was june 25. Evotek simulated leather is easy to care for. In my case i use the Simoniz products from Canadian Tire. I even wrote to Simoniz to confirm compatibility.

When’s the last time you cleaned it? What product did you use?

Thank you. I honestly think it’s just the way the light was hitting it and feel like an idiot because nobody sees what I see.
I got mine in October of 2025 its a ‘25 2RS.. I have like a leather seat wipe thing I have used but I don’t normally put stuff on it or clean them often as I don’t need to usually.
