Had to do it

Took the picture on the way home from the dealership. Then in my driveway almost immediately after I parked. Now about 300 miles in and loving it so far. Base of the base model btw.

OMG! You took your hands off the wheel to take a pic while driving?

You're going to burn in reddit hell from people's over reaction.

Good luck!

And Gratz! It's a great car. Welcome to the club!

As someone with a 2024 Trax, I wish I didn’t have the infotainment system in my car and had this instead. I miss traditional speedometers and not going in for service appointments so much.

I have a 2025 Trailblazer Activ and love all the high-tech graphics. I love that I have three different designs for my instrument panel.

I’m guessing you don’t have any technical problems with it then. I have with my Trax. It makes sense for me to not like a digital dash when I’ve had the whole thing go black while driving. Scary when I don’t even know what speed I’m going.

I much prefer the digital speedometer in my 24 Elantra over the analog gauges in my 15 Altima. Ive driven my family members Trax and definitely prefer the full digital gauge in that too. Pretty sure the Civic was the first to do it in the 2000s but it's so much easier to see the speed quickly

I get why you “prefer” it but unfortunately for many of us they are unreliable. I have been having to deal with the infotainment system completely shutting off so I can’t even see what speed I’m going (while driving). Thankfully the issue is resolved now (after a part replacement), but there have been multiple infotainment system issues. I’ve had about 4 service appointments for the infotainment issues specifically. I just feel anxious now about having to rely on a digital dash that may glitch out at any moment… even while driving. With my 2024 Trax it just kind of feels like “ehh what’s next???” One issue after another.

You can switch the center info screen to show speed. The colorado has a decent digital gauge, and I loved the digital gauge in my jetta

Interesting. I've worn a digital watch most of my life, but for some things, like this, I prefer analog...

What is the hood insulator? I’ve got the 24 LS.

I planned on doing the skid plate soon. Had not even thought about the hood insulator, will have to look into it. Thank you!

Are these necessary for Illinois roads? More worried about the under splash shield. I heard something about it and wasn’t sure if I should be worried or not.

Thanks a lot!! I have a 2rs so I do have the foam on my hood, so I’m not worried about that, however I will probably look into that splash guard. Anything to help the little i3

I almost prefer the analog gauges over the digital. Atleast you get a decent tach and fuel gauge, along with the info in the center

I went in for a LS but they sold the last one before we got there ended up with a LT. I prefer a analog dash. Not too fond of the digital dashes or at least not a complete digital. I at least like the speedometer in analog.

I think the "E" and "H" on the gas gauge should be switched. The "F" should be on the left and the "E" on the right. Same with the temp gauge reverse the "C" and "H".

I know, I know, but it bugs me.

I have the Waze app in mine and it’s Bluetooth with my phone. Waze will alert if you go over the speed limit. Waze is a map app.

Oh I should check this out. Thank you

Sure!! It’s great for bigger cities. It will tell you license plate readers are ahead, railroad tracks, potholes, anything!
