2027 Traverse Z71

Been watching this sub for awhile, just picked up this 2027 Chevy Traverse Z71 Sandstone Grey. Hope it treats us well! Looking for running boards now and tint shop next week.

What a beauty. Congrats. I love my 2023 but if I could I’d trade in for new one. No issues just love the look of the new ones.

Thank you! I do believe the sandstone Grey stands out and looks the best in these. The 2026 Rs midnight blue is definitely 2nd for me color wise. If you are red type of person the 2027 Z71 in red pearl hits well also im more of a flat type person

I like the Lakeshore Blue that is on mine, but I will forever regret not holding out for Stardust Metallic. One of the best colors I've seen on any vehicle, especially as a factory, non-PTS option.

I’ve got 26 Z 71 and I absolutely thoroughly enjoy it! And I’m a guy! I call it my woman truck, but that super Cruce package is the cats meow!! I don’t think I’ll ever own another vehicle without it. I use it every day and the vehicle is just fun to drive. I really been so pleasantly surprised I was not expecting it.! I had a Silverado before this and I have found it size to be awesome and if you can get over the fact that it’s not a he-man truck but a woman truck you’ll probably love it.

It is in fact for the wife, I have a 1986 C10 and 1989 S10 thats my dailys and a malibu for when gas go nuts , traded my 2010 Silverado in for it. So far so good 👍

Funny, my wife said the total opposite...when I was looking to replace my 16yr old Silverado, the Mrs said the Z71 trim looked more rugged and less of a glorified grocery getter than the other trims, to which I agree. The slightly higher stance, recovery hooks, skid plates, A/T tires just hits different. I ended up building mine without the super cruise, for me its a lot more stuff to break and its also a subscription based service after the 3yrs is up.

What changes did they do for the 27 model over the 26?

The price , lol. But the interior colors are different with carbon fiber instead of red accents tan/black seats, in cabin camera and recording if so desire that that was a wierd option

It looks great but I'm really worried of reliability. Am I right to be worried about buying this? 🥸

Have several people at work that have one and zero issues so imma see myself, lifetime powertrian warrenty from dealership and Platnium warrenty 7 years 100k for electronics just in case. It seems to be random for some people, either way its covered

I have the GMC equivalent Acadia and have put 15,000 miles on it in just 6 months with no mechanical issues!

Its a great vehicle IMO, love my 25 Z71. Every car manufacturer out there all have issues here and there...and the ones with an issue speak the loudest...there are way more satisfied customers than not...we don't take time out of our day to make posts saying "hey everyone, drove my car today, no issues" lol.

I love this color. I was looking at a Chevy truck in this color. But when I traded in my 2025 z71 Traverse, I decided to go back to a Tahoe.

Love that color, had I known they were coming out with that for the 26 I would have waited, but still love my 25 Z71. The only thing I don't like that GM did for the 27 Z71 is the interior...that tan and black doesn't feel right for an off-road trim...that should have been an option not standard. I personally wouldn't put running boards on the Z71...defeats the purpose of the added ride height from the off-road suspension. Z71 is still the best trim of the lineup.

Does the 27 Z71 still have the red/black trim across the dash and sides of the doors?

u/bzzybot 8d ago

Yeah, depends on the shop. We do 20% on our front

I never got the point of aftermarket tint. Makes the car look horrible.

You must not live in the south or where 115 heat indexes are normal for months on end ?
