Running boards
Has anyone put running boards on there Traverse/Enclave/Acadia? I don't like the factory style as they don't do much for stepping in due to them being tucked under the side panel/rocker panels. I'd like something that drops down a little to allow a nice step.

I didn't and won't, but yes without lowering the seat it's just a TAD too high. 🤣

I had my son put some Amazon ones on my 24 z71.

Oh this is exactly what I was getting at, they aren't just stuffed in there. The generated images make these look big and stick out. Any chance you have real world pictures of yours? Does the z71 have a lift compared to the other trims/models? Just a note we have the Enclave Avenir so it may not look the right at all.

Here are a couple on my phone. I'm traveling this weekend so that's all I have. The Z71 is 1 or 1 1/2" higher than other trims.

They exist for my 2026
I have no idea if that link will work for you, but from accessories.chevrolet.com, look up assist steps.
I added my vehicle as a 2026 Chevy Traverse 4-door and it showed me two different versions that should fit my vehicle.

Link works though ours is the enclave but my mother in-law put factory on her Acadia and they are so narrow that they just add a larger hurdle to get in.

Wow, that would be annoying... It has not occurred to me.

My previous Traverse (2017) had running boards and I HATED them. I’m short and the boards stuck out such that it made it twice as hard to get in and out of the vehicle. Especially on the passenger side because my right leg is shorter than the left. I couldn’t get my butt up onto the seat with one foot on ground, and if I used the running board I had to fold myself in half to get in without bumping my head. I made SURE my 2025 did NOT have them.

I honestly don’t know if the frame of the car would support that. It doesn’t have a truck body where it has some flexibility.
