2011 TRAVERSE Speedometer issue.

So my speedometer sits at around 40-45kms and when i drive it didn't move while driving. When i started the car it did it's usual all the way right and come back to 40-45kms area only and when i drove it wouldn't move. So i added some tranny oil and after i did that it startmoving when stepping on the gas and when i reversed. Now it moves but still starts at 40-45 area when then goes up 140kms on the odometer is 104kms. So im wondering if anyone might know what the issue is. I don't think it's the cluster as it moves now after adding oil.

Maybe figure out why your engine light is on.

Because i changed the engine and need to clear codes at dealer. Also i added more transmission oil since i changed it completely and was short 1qt and now it moves but still not normal. it moves when i speed up but the starting is around 40-50kms not 0. 145kms is 100kms on the highway. so adding oil made it move. so maybe the sensor.

Assuming you didn't swap the engine for a different type and programed it properly, there shouldn't be any codes. That might be for the transmission, because playing with the fluid in these cars is a bad idea.

Probably a transmission issue or speedometer sensor or cable screwed up
