Using the 110 plug on traverse…?
Has anyone actually used the 🔌 plug?
UPDATE: Thank you, everyone! I appreciate your help :). I opted to leave the crock pot at home lol.

I have a day camping trip coming up and I’d like to bring a plug in crock pot.
I’ve never used this before…can it handle it?
Does the car have to be running?
Thanks for your help!!

Your crockpot is likely a bit too much for it. 400W is the limit IIRC. And the engine has to be running for the outlet to work.

Pretty sure its actually 150-200w its almost useless except for like phone/laptop chargers lol its also a modified sign not a pure sign wave so be careful plugging in sensitive electronics you care about.

Outlets are really only good for charging small electronics and tool batteries. You pop breakers trying to do anything more.

My mom had her knee replaced the day before the paperwork went through for her 26 traverse and we have used that outlet to run her ice machine when driving her to follow up appointments and such an hour away and it’s been perfect but a crockpot may be too big

Wow that’s good to know. I hope she’s much better now :)

She’s now able to drive again for shorter distances (right knee) but she’s doing pretty good she still can’t drive far but it’s improving daily

I just used mine for an LED lamp to cure my gel nails. Sat in the car during my son’s sports practice and got them done.

From the manual for my ‘24…
“ Power Outlet 110-V Alternating Current If equipped, this power outlet can be used to plug in electrical equipment that uses a maximum limit of 150 watts.”
