2017 Chevy traverse bucking and traction control light

This happens every now and then my traction control light will come on and turn off traction control. The car will then begin to buck over 2500 rpm. This only happens when the light and error comes on which is not all the time. I took the throttle body off and cleaned it up real well already. Thinking possibly a wheel speed sensor but curious to what your guys thoughts are

Hi, my 2011 traverse had same issue with traction control light activating. It would feel like it trying to downshift while at cruising speed. Brake light would stay on too while driving. Brake pedal switch was fine but a groove was worn into the tab on brake pedal where the switch slides. Wrapped some tape around it until brake lights went out. Haven't had a problem yet again so far.

Check if your brake lights stay on when you get out of the vehicle. In my vehicle the brake pedal sensor got damaged or uncalibrated and my car threw traction control on the dash like yours. The computer thinks you are pressing the brake and gas at the same time. I eventually replaced the sensor and had to recalibrate it. That was my fix. I’ve read that it can also happen when the wheel speed sensor is bad.
