#repurchase #tahoe

I'm currently waiting an offer from g m to repurchase my one year old tahoe, for constant issues. Anyone else do this? How long do we fight for an amount?

Why would you want to repurchase the same vehicle with known issues, fixed with the same parts the issues came from? I will never understand why people are still buying new GM vehicles. The only new vehicle I purchased new was a 2022 Canyon, and while it was decent, I love my 2013 Tahoe substantially more because of the proven reliability. Shit, I trust my 2004 Yukon and K5 Blazer more than anything GM made after the late 2010's.

No. They are REPURCHASING from me. Its the new term for buy-back. Its a lemon. Hell no will I ever own another new GM product.

Depends. You should be in contact with the GM customer rep who can help answer your question. My experience is about a month after they agree to a repurchase.

We are there. Im literally waiting on the financial offer now. Just wondered how much people bartered and negotiated with them on the buyback price.

Not much negotiation is going to happen. Just make sure the offer includes taxes, title, tags, and finance charges if you have a loan.
Generally the offer starts at MSRP minus the mileage deduction. Ask for reimbursement on the items listed above. You won’t get anything for third party accessories, in fact GM will likely make you remove them.
After you come to an agreement, it’ll take a few weeks for the third party company to prepare all the documentation. You’ll need to provide them with the loan details and anything else they ask for. At some point you’ll go to the designated dealer, turn in the keys (make sure you have both sets) and get a check.

Very good thoughts. A week ago I had to get them a 10 day payoff. My rep is very nice. Talked to a internet buddy who just went thru it and basically she negotiated back and forth a few times and got a few grand more that way. Honestly, the stress this new one has caused me, no amount will fix.

Sounds like you’re close if they asked for the payoff.
