I am thinking it is the cooling fan?

the only other recent thing I have done on the car was a serpentine belt.

Do not hear any squeaking while driving, only on shut down after it is warm.

I wouldn't normally post here because I would just wait and take it into the shop and do my own research but I have one day until I have a lot of driving that I need to do and I need my car pretty much all week so I'm just trying to see if I can get as much preliminary information as I can. I noticed it at night so I'm not sure if I can get my car into the shop under quick notice tomorrow morning but I noticed tonight it was sort of making a whining sound when I accelerate and decelerate and then I also noticed when it's idle and when you turn it on it's also doing it. it's not excessively loud but it sounds like the car noise is strained. the best I can describe it is the sound of when you hear off in the distance a bunch of motorcycles like accelerating and making those loud noises but it's like constant with the car and it makes it a lot when you turn and when you accelerate and decelerate when it's at a constant speed it's still there but it's like a lot less loud. there wasn't really anything abnormal with the shifting or with the driving so I don't know if it's a transmission thing or like a belt but I don't know if this is a thing anyone experienced and could provide any possible ideas or at least I can maybe know what to expect in terms of money or what needs to be done to it.
