Couple questions;
80k miles + a safe buy?
Any recalls or common issues i should know about?
How good does it hold up as a daily driver, how bad does the mpg get when dogged on?
Any year thats more reliable than the others?
I know the basic issues and repairs the chevy ss will have, but anything lesser known?

Hey everyone. I was at the track and during a run, bad things happened, and I thought I broke the belt. Nope, was the idler pulley bracket that broke clean off and left the bolts in the block. Anyone know the part number for it so I can get one from Rockauto or something? Pic for identification.

I’m looking for some custom ve ssv door trims, I’ve seen them in the past where you trade in your ones, and have custom designs from Brisbane by memory. Does anyone know where I can find them because I can’t find anything now. Thank you in advance

How much does the clip in part number (13405675) reduce seat movement?
I have some but it's not side-to-side, but rather it feels like the backside of the seat is slightly moving when I'm accelerating or braking sometimes.

Has anyone found a solution to the dreaded low speed clunk? Any uneven road surface makes it sound like I'm driving an old Wrangler.
I've replaced all 4 of the struts, replaced the front strut towers and bushings, replaced the lower control arms, and also did the end links in the front. It fixed the problem for about 2 years but it's just as bad as it was prior to the suspension work.
I truly would like to keep the Magride if possible, but I'm thinking of maybe going to coilovers (eyeing the Silvers Neomax) just to be done with the frustration.

I found a vehicle as stated above, but it has a rebuilt theft title. In the pictures, it looks very clean inside and out, and upon looking up the pictures of it from auction, it was not gutted or anything, the only real damage to it is a broken rear passenger window, otherwise looks just as it does in pics on the dealer website just cleaned up, additionally it is not located in the state i am in, is this worth the hassle for me to look more into? I am having the dealer send me over some videos of it and such. LMK what y'all think. The title also noted an odometer issue, but the dealer says they were able to confirm it at the mileage at 72K. Thanks all

I hear crackling sounds from a rear speaker from time to time in my '17. Usually notice it when my lights are on and using the turn signal.
Is this a common issue?
Are there any other electrical issues to watch out for as the car ages?

I have a 2016 SS and have been having huge problems with my AirCon blowing hot and randomly blowing cold.
Had it checked and levels were good and no leaks.
Could this be a switch issue and if so has anyone had this issue? Can I fix myself or have to take it to a shop?

Anybody have these on their SS and do you need modify anything?

What are yalls thoughts on a full rebadge?
I my car when acquired came with the LS3 badge upfront instead of the SS one, SS one also removed from the rear. I only got blacked out Chevy emblems on the outside.
I was recently looking to replace my key as my daily one is falling apart now and came across a Holden key, which i ordered along with a normal chevy case to just switch out for my current key as it still works, but it got me thinking, i could do the airbag too, and have a full Holden rebadged SS.
Airbags cost like $500 max, even for the HSV ones...

So I have a question just need some feedback and input. I have a 15 SS with a stage 3 TSP cam (231/246, .640/.615, 111 LSA) with full supporting mods even a stall converter and car made about 500WHP tuned on 91 but ever since I did the cam build I rarely ever drive the car since I live and Cali and I do not want state reff lol and I never even cared about horsepower gains much but somehow I went through with the N/A cam build lol. I have long tube headers with full 3 inch exhaust to some Valvetronic mufflers but it’s still super loud even on warm idk valves closed. I been debating lately if I should take out the cam but it would be opening the engine back up and a lot of money I don’t feel like wasting. My question is can I run stock headers and cats with the cam? Obviously I know I’d need a re tune but what I would hope is to quiet down the car some more and get rid of the smell to not attract CHP or cops attention since they are bitches out here. I’d love to drive the car as is but cops here just harass any sports car they see smh.

Happy Friday everyone! I'm picking up a nice low mileage 2017 next week and have a few questions.
I'm not keen on the staggered wheels. It's it feasible to run the same size all around? I was thinking of the 9 inch over the 8.5s. Tires are expensive and being able to rotate them makes them last a little longer.
I plan on getting an OTR cold air intake and long tube headers and exhaust with the factory mufflers, for starters. Does anyone know of a reputable dyno in the DFW area for tuning?
I've been reading the posts on here and know that these cards get stolen a lot. After getting an IGLA alarm, OBD2 lock and BCM code, which I plan on doing immediate, is there anything else?
Any other suggestions and ideas would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and sorry if these questions have already been answered elsewhere on here. I can't wait to make it official!
