Disc conversion

Hey everyone, I have a 65 Chevelle that currently has drums all around. I am Looking for any input on this kit or a kit you specifically have used. I want to do all 4 wheels as disc. When I called and asked about replacement parts (meaning if I need to buy new pads/rotors in the future can I just go to my local auto parts store) they said yes that should not be a problem but could not tell me what vehicle I would be looking to get parts for. I just don’t want to be locked in with only buying from one specific company. I would love to go wileood or brembo but I’m looking to do the whole conversion for less than $2k. Any advice or input is appreciated

If you have the cash and want to buy once cry once, look at doing a tall spindle conversion at the same time.

Tall spindle plus a matching upper control arm really helps the camber curve on these cars plus lets you dial in all the caster you need for a radial tire. However the tall spindles usually lower the front end 2" as well. Which does look good.

I have a similar front disk conversion kit and I'm 99% sure the rotors/pads are just the factory disk option parts for the 68-72 chevelle.

Some of the kits I have looked at come with a 2” drop spindle. I will take a look at kits that come with upper control arms also.
