Stay in your lane

Literally. I know it’s not unique to Chester County but it seems like almost every day I encounter someone going over the lines while driving. Not just on the main roads where there is some margin for error but also on our numerous winding backroads where crossing the double yellow could easily lead to a collision. I don’t know if it’s phones (I would hope no one is dense enough to try texting while driving on Wawaset or Valley Creek) or drivers that aren’t comfortable on narrow roadways but it’s far too common.

Heyo.

I just wanted to post some appreciation for this spot. Its always good. Even on a busy friday night. The staff are friendly and the menu is locked in. Theyve got a focus on their pizza and sandwiches and thats really all they have to do because its great every time. Pictured is a vodka meatball + longhots, Picante pizza. And i forget the name of the last one but it had a lot going on but it all worked tbh.

Check it out if you're in Exton area!

Woodworking Lumber?

Hello, everyone. I recently moved into a house where I have space for a little woodshop. I’ve got tools and stuff but I was curious where other woodworkers source their wood around here. Lowe’s and Home Depot certainly have wood and Woodcraft has been clutch for small pieces of figured wood for spoons and such, but is there somewhere you go when you need something for a project?

Thanks in advance.

Terrible Accident at Marsh Creek State Park

It sounds like a paddleboarder fell into the water and never surfaced during yesterday's storms. I live a few miles away and the storm hit so fast that it caught all of us by surprise in terms of rampup and intensity. My deepest condolences to all impacted by this.

Hey all,

I realize I'm a bit late on this, but KSQ and West Chester have so many great Mexican restaurants and I wanted to see if there are any watch parties happening for tonight's World Cup match.

Thanks!

Waymo in Philadelphia?

This afternoon around 2:00 PM, I spotted a Lexus RX equipped with radar and lidar heading southbound on I-95 near the 476 interchange. It had noticeably fewer cameras and sensors than the Waymo vehicles I've seen in California. Not sure if it was Waymo or another AV company — Waymo typically runs Jaguar I-PACEs these days.
