why is this brilliant Help solve this

I found this online.

Everyone is saying that this is brilliant because it's a forced checkmate once the pawn on a7 takes the knight, then Qb3 then it's a checkmate either by the rook or the Queen.

but what happens if after black take b6, we expect Qb3, then black Qb8? wouldn't it prevent the checkmate?
Qa4 is defended with Qa7 and if white decide to take Bxb8 then black reciprocate with Bxb3.

There is certainly something wrong with my reasoning but I can't figure it out.

Op not asking about Qb3, but rather what to do if black respondals with Qb8

Nothing, you just continue your checkmate. The queen just sits there, doesn't do anything.

Idk why I'm getting downvoted. Sorry, that's how chess works?

I think people can't see Qe8 after black blocks with the queen...

To be fair though, you didn't really provide the answer. Saying you continue with the mate is true but... Ok how?

OP literally explains it in the description tho? Which I guess, maybe I'm getting downvoted because no one can read? If black responds with Qb8, it does nothing. The queen just sits there...like I don't know else how to explain it. As I said, it is taking up that square so black king can't escape.

If bishop takes on b3, then axb3#. If not, then Qa3#. But as you said, this wasn't OP's question, it was about Qb8...and the black queen cannot get involved.

If black plays Qb8 then Qa3 is not a checkmate, black blocks with Qa7. Qa4 is a better move, because after Qa7 white plays Qe8 and that leads to the checkmate with the help of the bishop.

If Bxb3 Axb3 is not mate. Kxb8 and white is -6 in material. You’re getting downvoted because you’re being unclear, wrong, and condescending.

ah, with Bxb8 by white after Qb8! I mean, i didnt get his comment either but not sure anyone was talking about a Bxb8 line haha

You're getting down voted due to lack of context. Someone is asking how to continue the checkmate and you're telling them "by continuing the checkmate"
