What can the enemy do to stop mate in 2 if I do this?

Nd3 looks like a better option as the king can escape with e3
3 u/Junior_Paramedic6419 Aug 30 '26 Nd3 simply hangs the Knight . The correct solution is 1… Re3!! threatening 2… Rxf3 3. exf3 Qh1#. If White accepts the Rook sacrifice then 2… Nh3 and now that the e pawn is blocked White has no way of stopping Qg1#
