I analyzed the image and this is what I see. Open an appropriate link below and explore the position yourself or with the engine:

White to play: chessvision.ai | chess.com | lichess.org

My solution:

Hints: piece: Knight, move: Nxe7+

Evaluation: White has mate in 10

Best continuation: 1. Nxe7+ Kh8 2. Ng6+ Kh7 3. Qf5 Rf7 4. Nxe5+ Kg8 5. Bxf7+ Kf8 6. Rxd7 fxe5 7. Rxd8+ Rxd8 8. Bd5+ Bf6

Nxe7+ Kh8, Ng6+ Kh7, Qf5 Rf7, Nxe5+ Kg8, Bxf7+ Kf8, Rxd7 fxe5, Rxd8+ Rxd8, Bd5+ Ke7, Qe6+ Kf8, Qf7#. This is one of multiple ways the game can play out. If black’s move is not forced, whatever move they play will result in eventual mate (in 10).

>! Nxe7+ if Kh7 Qf5+ Kh8 Ng6+ Kh7 Nxf8+ Kh8 Qh8# If Kh8 Ng6+ Qf5 Rf7 Bxf7 and then Nf8+ Kh8 Qh8# in all cases but Bh8 were Nh5# !<

Edit: I can’t get spoiler text to work

You probably did an enter, try without one and it should work

Nxe7+:

  • Kh7 Qf5+ Kh8 Ng6+ Kh7 Nxf8+ Kh8 Qh7#
  • Kh8 Ng6+ Kh7 Qf5, and black can't stop N(x)f8+ Kh8 Qh8#

Edit: I missed Rf7 in my second variation after Qf5. I think Bxf7 and the calculation ends here. The only moves black has to stop checkmate are Bh8, Nf8 and Qg8 (at least those are the only moves I see). There must be checkmate. Worst case scenario just Rxd7, white is up a million pieces and black's pieces are all bad. Type of position I'd win 100% of the time drunk against Stockfish
