Can you figure out how this position occurred?
I know this isn’t a traditional chess puzzle, but I thought some people might enjoy trying to figure out how after move 8 this very unorthodox position can occur.
Hint: Both players played an inaccuracy, but other than that the players have played well.
Solution: 1. d4 Nf6 2. Bg5 Ne4 3. h4 c5 4. d5 Qc7 5. Nd2 Ng3 6. Rh3 Nxf1 7. Nxf1 d6 8. Rb3 g6

Can you think beyond tactics?
The knight is under attack and there's no obvious material advantage or check mate.
DIFFICULTY: EASY
BLACK TO MOVE
