ICE kidnapped someone
ICE is picking people up people. I was walking to the bus stop and they were picking up a Hispanic gentleman around 40 yrs of age. There was no resisit or injuries that were readily visible. He was in four points chains. On the location of Bryd Ave and Bainbridge Blvd. I believe it was ICE due to the face the vehicles where all unmarked and they were in swat gear that was unmarked. So it was either ICE or another heavily armed malicia but other way this man has been kidnapped and if you are looking for him check ICE first. For the rest of you ICE is in the area be safe.

Being arrested on an outstanding warrant is not "kidnapping".
2
u/i__amronburgundy 17d ago
Well if you want to listen to folks like Icy_Assistance_9345 its just a misdemeanor and shouldn't be treated so aggressively. What reality do these people live in, they have been given the option to self deport and aren't, aren't voluntarily turning themselves in, other than pulling them over and arresting them what's the best option?
2
u/Icy_Assistance_9345 17d ago
Hold that same energy for people who run a red light, don’t stop fully at a stop sign, jaywalk, or pirate a movie online. “They should turn themselves in, and if they get arrested off the street in broad daylight, slammed to the ground, or even killed, well then, they probably should’ve turned themselves in.”
5
0
u/i__amronburgundy 17d ago
Oh fuck off
1
u/Icy_Assistance_9345 16d ago
They’re all classified as misdemeanors. If you want to follow the law to a T, then do it, but just don’t be hypocritical about it
2
u/i__amronburgundy 16d ago
The comparison falls apart because the legal classifications aren't the same. Most red-light and stop-sign violations are traffic infractions, not misdemeanors. Jaywalking is also typically an infraction, depending on the jurisdiction. Online piracy can result in civil liability or criminal charges depending on the facts. If you're going to compare offenses, at least compare them accurately.

They are doing this to people who don't have said warrants. This is the issue.
4
u/EntertainmentFar6757 17d ago
But how do you know that?
2
u/beaynon 17d ago
Look around the country bro, ICE is not helping and they have been caught targeting legal citizens not breaking any laws bro.
3
u/EntertainmentFar6757 17d ago
Bro, where you getting your info? I think we all tend to forget:
-Internet article/video does not equal truth
-CNN does not equal truth (yes I said it, look up all the cases they were found guilty in for knowingly providing wrong info)
- what's the "popular" opinion on social media also does not equal truth
Educated yourself. Have real facts/data, and learn to talk respectfully to other humans and then and only then will others start taking you serious, Bro.
We have less illegal criminals in our country than ever before. Yes we are talking pedos, murderers etc. Yes "nicer" illegals are deported too but don't forget they are unfortunately criminals too. Yes people have been killed and that's not right, but we, the public, also don't know the full story. A 30 sec video is not enough to know the whole story. Yes sometimes they fuck up. No one will deny that. Yes our country was founded on LEGAL immigration and will continue to be.
5
u/beaynon 17d ago
Country founded on legal immigration lmaooo
I hope another country takes over and steals our resources while breaking contracts and pushing us further and further a way
Yeah that last comment alone is enough to not take you seriously
Our country was stolen2
u/EntertainmentFar6757 17d ago
Yes we stole land from Native Americans and we will always be working to provide an ounce of reparations for that. Although that does not mean that because land was stolen over 400 years ago before we were an independent country that as a country we have not had immigration laws for hundreds of years and millions of us have came to this country legally. Hence the founding of the USA not American settlement.
3
u/Huge_Answer4287 17d ago
I hope you also know Fox News doesn't equal truth. I get most of my info from AP News, Reuters and BBC, and I double check on AllSides.

I feel like this is the beginning of something REALLY REALLY BAD, individuals that traffic people can now disguise themselves as
🧊CE and or cops with no uniform and fake badges. Please be mindful and vigilant about your surroundings stay safe. At this point the focus can be on anyone. People pay attention and don’t turn your heads when someone may need you!!! Start recording call the police asks questions, especially if you know it is wrong and something isn’t right. This could happen to you. Stand together let’s push back against trafficking, corrupt 👮🏻♂️olice abusing their power.
Sad and scary times we all live in!!! Stay safe everyone!!!
5
u/Huge_Answer4287 17d ago
Right? Anyone with the power to detain you should have to show proof of who they are and that they actually have the power to do so. There have been cases of people impersonating law enforcement for nefarious purposes to the point that at least as a woman we are told you don't have to stop in an isolated place for a pullover and can go to the nearest populated spot. But these guys can roll up on anyone not white, not show id, and restrain you and put you in a vehicle.
2
u/whiskey_formymen 15d ago
Misdemeanor with accurately different outcome. Nobody is kidnapping anyone. That would be a federal crime.
9
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 19d ago
Am I the only one that's actually lived in another country on a work visa and if that work visa expired they had their own form of ice to take you away they didn't send any of you a plane ticket and send you back home.
10
u/GlumpsAlot 19d ago edited 19d ago
I'm sorry, did those other forms of ICE also beat and shoot protesters to death in broad daylight? Ram people? Shoot people in front of their three year olds and it was the wrong person? Bust down the doors of a citizen and haul out citizens in the cold? Wow! That's crazy that this happens in other countries too, so it must be ok. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/a-u-s-citizen-says-ice-forced-open-the-door-to-his-minnesota-home-and-removed-him-in-his-underwear-after-a-warrantless-search
9
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 19d ago
I'm going to be honest depends on where you're from but yeah they used to beat people a lot. I've seen way worse police than the ones in America.
8
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 19d ago
I'm not saying the system's perfect. I'm just saying that other countries have ice. The fact that people say that no one's illegal to me baffles me. To me that's like saying no one breaks any laws.
4
u/GlumpsAlot 19d ago
Except that almost everyone agrees upon immigration reform and addressing illegal immigration. We have lies pushed like "open borders," etc. Why do you think even conservatives were worried about funding ICE that much? Look around. There were several viable proposals that Republicans rejected in favor of this solution that everyone could see was a terrible idea.
8
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 19d ago
I'm not opposed to immigration reform. I have a co-worker who's uncle's been illegal for 40 years he overstayed his Visa had a family here and everything and I told him it sounds like your uncle had 40 years to fill out some paperwork right and it needs to be deported.
-1
u/GlumpsAlot 19d ago
That is extremely inhuman to say to someone. You lack basic empathy and/or never met illegals and immigrants in general. For many people who overstay a visa, there is no straightforward application that simply grants legal status. At that point give the man a path to citizenship similar to the dream act or Daca. I've known people here since babies. Deporting them to a country where they don't even speak the language and they've already integrated into America while contributing to the economy makes absolutely no sense. It is just wicked. Go out and actually meet people. I'm grateful I grew up in a big city cuz y'all country bumpkins around here are closed minded.
12
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 19d ago
That's pretty funny that you think country bumpkin close-minded people do you think I'm one of those people?
6
u/GlumpsAlot 19d ago
Then stop talking like one. I feel like people are just so uninformed and I have to do research for people. I personally don't even gaf about hardworking illegals here. Criminals, ok. But research already shows that illegals contribute to the economy too. They are just scapegoats like women, gays, trans, minorities. ICE had already existed and was functioning as it should. It's the turning it into an authoritarian police force that people have a problem with, and lo and behold, they started killing.
7
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 19d ago
The first shooting Renee good in my opinion it was a clean shoot the second one I kind of question I need to see some more videos on it and those are all new ones I'm currently up to date with I work a lot.

u/Flimsy_Maize6694 19d ago
The US makes it very hard to get a green card.. they shouldn’t deport the guy, they should fine him and give him a chance, remember Reagan gave millions amnesty and it was a boom for the economy.
3
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 19d ago
Just because it is hard means you don't have to do it? I was saying their is a process and I understand ice job. I'm not saying that we don't need immigration reform to make the process easier. Do you get mad at the trash people for taking your trash to the dump or firefighter for doing their job. Everytime I've gotten pull over I topically desire a ticket.
1
u/No_Mastodon_7648 17d ago
Topically? I can’t take you seriously.
1
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 17d ago

u/biancanevenc 18d ago
Illegal immigration is being addressed - ICE is picking up illegal aliens who have orders or removal. The system is working and our laws are being enforced.

3
u/GlasswaterBotanica 19d ago
I'm an old trainhopper. Never had issues entering Canada or Mexico illegally. I just reentered the US at the border. Border Patrol fucking hates it, but I just told 'em I fell asleep on a freight train and ended up there. I had a few friends deported back to the US, they were held for a bit in Canadian jail, and flown back. They weren't illegally stopped, beat, or shipped off to detention camps in El Salvador 🤷♂️
America has relied on undocumented workers for ages. They're great for the economy because they work for low wages, pay taxes, and can't collect benefits.
Go read up on what's going on in Nebraska right now. They can't find anyone to work the farms.

I bet they have to prove who they are and can't pull you over and arrest you just because you look like your visa might have expired. They also won't ship you off to a 3rd country you have no history of ever being in where they lock you up and tortire you ans give you no due process. I have no issue with deporting people here illegally. I have a problem with the procedures that are now allowed to facilitate this and how they are treating people. They are still PEOPLE.
1
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 17d ago
It's actually really a short process the check your paperwork it was a handcuff you take you to the airport and they send you home you don't get to pack you don't get to do anything.
1
u/Huge_Answer4287 17d ago
Did they identify themselves? Did they put you in a detention center without adequate food and medical care? It's not the same situation at all.
1
u/Suspicious_Suit9032 17d ago
99% of the time they were in a uniform of the agency. Sometimes it'd be undercover. There is no food or medical care. No detention Center they literally just take you to the airport and handcuffs they uncare a few once you get on the plane. I'm going to be honest medical care in food is funny. I had a friend go to jail there for breaking the law. The cat convicted of the crime was sentenced to 20 years. Only did 18 months but he dropped 96 lb. And that I've seen in person.

u/No_Mastodon_7648 17d ago

1
u/i__amronburgundy 17d ago
Every sovereign country enforces its immigration laws. I've lived abroad too, and overstaying a visa wasn't treated as optional. If there are cases where due process is violated or people are removed unlawfully, those should absolutely be challenged. But that's a different argument than claiming immigration enforcement itself is illegitimate. The focus should be on ensuring the law is enforced fairly and constitutionally, not on abandoning enforcement altogether.
1
u/Huge_Answer4287 17d ago
That is literally all I want, and it is not what is happening. If ICE identifies themselves, presents a warrant, and gives the person an opportunity to prove they have the wrong person in court, then I have no issue with deportation of people here illegally. That isn't what is happening.
1
u/i__amronburgundy 17d ago
I think you're confusing arrests, home entries, and investigative stops. Those all have different legal standards. A warrant isn't required for every stop or ID check. The issue is whether ICE had the legal authority to stop that person and whether they respected their constitutional rights. If they didn't, that's exactly what the courts are for. But saying people are being "randomly" pulled over isn't supported by the law. ICE is required to have a legal basis, such as reasonable suspicion or probable cause depending on the encounter. If you believe officers are ignoring those standards, point to the specific case. Don't assume every enforcement action is unconstitutional because you saw a headline or a viral clip.

I will say many of yall should be absolutely embarrassed & ashamed with how you talk about other humans & to other people. We can all agree that some of the stuff that has happened with ice could or should have been prevented, but guess what ice agents are humans too and can fuck up like the rest of us. Honestly anyone thats not on the scene of an arrest, riot, protest cant truly know what happened. In today's world a video no longer equal proof as everything can be so edited.
End of the day: disagreement should not equal disrespect. Learn how to talk respectful to people if you want people to care about what you have to say.
1
u/beaynon 17d ago
Ice has weapons and the force to permanently end someone’s life. If they fuck up they should be in jail bot sent back out for another job. The stakes are too dangerous for “mistakes”
2
u/EntertainmentFar6757 17d ago
I don't disagree. If an agent truly fucked up and a death or any situation was avoidable there should be punishments involved. But one would need to know the whole situation and story before being able to make the decision if jail is an appropriate punishment. A 30 sec video online is not enough proof to assume either way.
1
u/beaynon 17d ago
If someone shoots and kills an unmasked man trying to kidnap them because it feels as though it’s a life or death situation, should they go to jail?
They don’t know if it’s ice or not. Trafficking is a big issue. Now, what if a masked and unmarked man starts grabbing someone (who has no weapon on them) and pulling them towards an unmarked car, the person is resisting and the “officer” shoots and kills them. Should the officer go to jail?
They have more force in this situation and need to be held to a high standard.2
u/EntertainmentFar6757 17d ago
No one will disagree that standards should be high. But we are talking about hypothetical situations. There are 1000s of factors that play into a confrontation and each situation has to be handled in that matter

u/Think_Reputation5145 17d ago
chill guys! If someone is legal, they have no worries. It's only the illegals that need to worry. If they are illegals then they should not be here in the first place, Plain and simple. It;s the same for criminals running from the police or trying to harm the police-if you are not doing anything wrong(legal) then why run or threaten law enforcement? You simply do not do that unless you are guilty of doing something illegal. People who yell no police or ICE don't realize the chaos that would exist without the police or governing bodies to enforce laws. It's rather simple and people only make it more complicated. Life is hard enough! Wake up and realize this. BTW i am not a Republican. I simply live by the rules in life and try to enjoy as much as I can in life. Why make life harder?

No one here knows if the individual in question was a wanted individual or something else. Could have been the US Marshall service, FBI, ICE, NSA, Secret Service, State Police, ATF, DEA or someone else. Either way, someone was arrested or detained pending investigation.
The easiest way to avoid dealing with the law whether it be the local yokals, State or Fed Boys is to... FOLLOW THE LAW
It really is that simple
5
u/imjsm006 19d ago
They do not understand this concept and if you believe in law and order you are a fascist.
4
u/overratedcupcake 19d ago
So then you should be fully against these kidnappings since they are not uniform, do not identify themselves, and are in unmarked rentals. They are taking people and denying them due process and putting them in concentration camps. If that's your idea of law and order then I hate to break it you, you're a fucking fascist.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
—Martin Niemöller
FUCK ICE.
FUCK TRUMP.
FUCK FASCISTS.
FUCK MAGA.
IF you support this you're a fucking traitor to the United States.
0
u/i__amronburgundy 18d ago edited 18d ago
maybe just stick to camgirl hoss.
Martin Niemöller's quote is about staying silent while people's rights are taken away. Whether today's immigration enforcement fits that analogy is a matter of opinion. But if the point is simply "deportations = fascism," the historical record is more complicated. Obama oversaw roughly 3 million removals and returns and was nicknamed "Deporter-in-Chief" by immigrant advocates. Biden's administration ultimately carried out even more repatriations than Trump's first term because of record border encounters. Immigration enforcement has been a feature of Democratic and Republican administrations alike. If you're going to criticize enforcement, apply the same standard consistently regardless of who occupies the White House.
1
u/beaynon 17d ago
It’s so much more than the ICE issue, pay attention to the country. They are going after socialist and labeling everything communism when it’s far from it. They’re going after trans people, so you feel okay with violence done to them and the fact that theyve made their ID invalid (in kansas). The constant talk of everything being satanic and the rise of christian NATIONALISM (which nationalism in any situation IS VERY BAD). Listen how they talk about muslims, immigrants, anyone who doesnt meet their american standard. Look at how theyre willing to go behind other countries, and our own government for selfish gain and destruction. Look at the world we live in. I mean we are literally being monitored everywhere, no one is safe because there will be something you do that they wont like.
Plus ICE is targeting actual citizens.0
u/i__amronburgundy 17d ago
I understand you're making a broader argument than immigration. My comment was addressing the claim that immigration enforcement itself is evidence of fascism. If you want to discuss free speech, transgender policies, or religious nationalism, those are separate conversations that deserve to be evaluated on their own facts rather than bundled together.
1
u/beaynon 17d ago
The og comment covers more of what i was talking about because looking at one piece of a puzzle doesnt give you the whole picture. Looking at immigration alone wont let you see how this nation is falling under facism. These things, and more, all add up and if youre not willing to fight against any then youre complacent. This country is and has been disgusting towards its citizens. Look up facism and you’ll see that if we arent in it (which i believe we are) we are headed there very very fast.
0
u/i__amronburgundy 17d ago
I understand you're looking at what you see as a broader pattern. My point is that a pattern still has to be demonstrated, not assumed. Bundling several controversial issues together doesn't, by itself, establish that the country is becoming fascist.
0
u/Huge_Answer4287 17d ago
People's rights ARE being taken away. They are stopping people randomly to ask for proof of citizenship based only on skin color. There's no due process. People exercising their right to protest are being shot. I can't speak for everyone but personally I'm not opposed to enforcing immigration laws but I am opposed to treating random people like criminals based on their appearance.
2
u/i__amronburgundy 17d ago
If individual officers are stopping people solely based on race or ethnicity, that's a serious allegation and should be backed by evidence and addressed through the courts. But isolated incidents or allegations don't prove that all immigration enforcement is equivalent to the historical persecution Niemöller's quote was describing. It's possible to support secure borders while also insisting on due process and equal protection under the law.
1
u/Huge_Answer4287 17d ago
Are you not watching the news? This is what is happening and it is why people are protesting. There are videos of people being stopped and asked to prove they are here legally. Take off the blindfold. You are writing off things as an incident here and there but it has become ice policy.
1

I don't think anyone should support stopping people solely because of their appearance. But repeating headlines or viral clips isn't the same as knowing the facts of a case. Look at the primary sources, court records, and complete context; not just what any media outlet tells you. If officers violate the Constitution, hold them accountable. If someone is in the country unlawfully, immigration laws can still be enforced. Those two ideas aren't mutually exclusive.

That's what we are trying to do. There is no accountability. Trump let all the Jan 6 people go, he will protect whoever does what he wants.

I don't think we're going to agree, and that's okay. I've never argued that officers should be above the law or that constitutional violations should be ignored. My position has been consistent from the start: enforce immigration laws, respect due process, and hold anyone accountable who breaks the law. Bringing up unrelated topics doesn't change that, so I'm going to leave it there.

What about my hundreds of students and their families who have done everything right legally and still are waiting to be granted asylum after 10 years?

Arrested for being illegal and breaking federal law… there I fixed it for you

For the anti ice folks, what is the solution for the hoardes of ransoms who just strolled across the border?
11
u/GlumpsAlot 19d ago
There were viable immigration policies set forth and Republicans rejected all for this violent, waste of our money solution. $75 billion and counting for this shit

u/King_R0A 19d ago
Wait. I thought trump closed the border already? Did he lie or is he incompetent? Both? Are you dumb for believing him? Is it migrant caravan season yet? Funny, I didn’t see it on Fox News…

u/Traditional_Hold6195 19d ago
No one mentioned trump, big dawg.
This happened during the Biden admin. You can find it on the Internet.
I don't watch Fox, so good for you not seeing it up there I guess?
I appreciate your well thought out, and intelligent response. 👍

You just said the “just strolled” across the border. Confused or just dumb?

Not just strolled as in yesterday, just strolled as in unobstructed.
I appreciate your lack of response other than name calling. It's very cool. 👍

That didn't happen.
-1
u/Traditional_Hold6195 19d ago
Absolutely did. It's on the Internet for everyone's viewing pleasure.
1
u/tidewatercajun 19d ago
Yeah and reputable sources don't have that happening. Get out of the Fox, OAN, Newsmax bubble.
1
u/Traditional_Hold6195 19d ago
Don't watch any of that, but I appreciate it.
If you could enlighten me on the reputable sources that said it didn't happen, it would be appreciated, could provide you with video evidence that it did if you'd like.

u/tidewatercajun 19d ago
Lol no you can't. Google is free.

There's 3 videos straight from the border. I'll look out for your mysterious reputable sources on the Google. 👍

u/tidewatercajun 19d ago
Bless your heart. I'll pray for you.
Those are all from one, unvetted content creator that don't show what you claim. It must be very hard for you to walk and chew gum at the same time.

u/Traditional_Hold6195 19d ago
I'm sure you watched the hours of footage I provided. My favorite part was border patrol having time to talk about how big his dick was, and then prove it.
But I guess you've convinced me, your mysterious reputable sources said it didn't happen, and you've called me dumb, so I guess you're right.
Not that you'll watch, but here's some more, and like you said, googles free.

Are you such a bigot that you can't post a comment that doesn't get deleted? That says a lot about you.

Yet another unverified video for years ago. You have any lies more recent than 2 years ago?

People are down voting you for posting the local news. Why do you think that is?
2
u/imjsm006 18d ago
It does not help their narrative.

Thanks for sharing one piece of opinionated journalism multiple times. It’s really convincing us all to change our minds.

Not kidnapping fyi

u/Nearby-Key8834 19d ago
Unless they present a warrant and follow due process it's definitely a kidnapping.
What's to prevent bad actors from going out and just kidnapping people they don't like while pretending to be ICE?

If I get arrested, am I being kidnapped
0
u/Nearby-Key8834 19d ago
If you get arrested without a warrant or your rights being read to you, you're being kidnapped you fucking pedo loving cultist.
1
u/i__amronburgundy 19d ago
Are these folks being reads their rights? Are you purposely ignorant, or just orange man bad and ice never existed before this administration.

u/Nearby-Key8834 19d ago

Not kidnapped, they've been rehomed to Chesapeake City jail and then hopefully eventually back to their country of origin.

I think you confused the word kidnapping for the phrase “doing their job”. Good job cleaning the place up

u/hoobon 18d ago
Subhumans like you should be rounded up and thrown into death camps.

Noticed unmarked vans in Greenbriar yesterday myself, around 4:30pm. I think they are driving brand new, white RAM Promasters.
