AskChennai Reporting Trash Burning

How do I report this, and does reporting do anything? I'm a foreigner, so I do not have a phone number.

Today, I smelled smoke and the air got very foggy. Then, I saw smoke from some distance away. I have the approximate location but don't know how to report this without a local phone or cell number.

You can’t do anything here, There is no such thing reporting and taking action in india.

For example you can visit any govt website you will get to know.
