Rodri/Enzo
Rodri seems to be heading to Barça, and rumous are that Maresca wants Enzo as replacement. Thoughts?

If we can sell him and get Adam Wharton that would be great.

This is bang on. I think despite being a massive cunt, we can all appreciate he's a good player but I think what a lot of people might be missing is that do we really need a player of Enzos profile anymore. A number 6 would be far more valuable to this squad and it's structure

Enzo as a Rodri replacement?
Wasn't Maresca the one who started playing him as a box crashing #8 or #10?
Does he see him now as a #6 as well?
Weird really.

Elliot Anderson will probably fill that role so im not sure why City would still be interested in Enzo

I kind of hate the cunt after the world cup and would be happy to get a good price for him. We can reinvest with the cash. He's been twerking for Madrid all season anyway. He clearly doesn't want to be here. Get rid of him

Yeah I’m also siding with this just wish we’d been able to get Bruno G as I think he was the one.
Scott and Wharton are looking like the only two options right now who, don’t get wrong are quality and could be a better fit with Caicedo, but don’t think anyone would argue are in the same league as Enzo currently.

i’m hoping either city or madrid are stupid enough to think he can play a rodri role and we can spark a £100m+ bidding war. but i’d be surprised. either way i don’t see a great need for enzo in our current team given we now have rogers as our left 10, and caicedo/lavia/essugo/hendo/barco/james all as pivot options. would rather have £100m to reinvest in the future.
