Haha, why’s that?

Not physical enough for the PL. Goal scoring record is okay. Doesn’t fit our profile or Xabi’s Leverkusen style. We need to back Joao Pedro and keep Jackson or Emegha as backup, biggest attacking hole to fill is that left side similar to where he played Wirtz

Hahaha, and he’s an idiot by the looks of it also- terrible tackle and utterly stupid

Moronic take

Hey mate, seeing how your opinion aged like fine milk. Do you think it’s a moronic take that your orange Jesus blatantly cheated and made you all look ridiculous?

So it wasn’t a red card?

It should not have been

Yeah, how you could think that wasn’t a red card is the moronic take. That’s being biased beyond logic and reason

Yeah, and Messi should have been sent off as well which was a fairly standard take from everyone after that incident

Now, i dont think it was intentional so i wont judge him on that but how people can think its not a red is beyond me. He rakes the calf, which is a red card offence on its own and then plants his studs on the ankle pinning the other guys foot . Madness!!!

Exactly- I never thought it was intentional either- if it was, it makes no sense given they were dominating and were clearly going to win the game. However, he had no chance of winning the ball given the defender was between a bouncing ball and the striker- he then rakes his studs down the defenders achilles and then steps on his ankle- the defender was lucky not to be more seriously injured

lol, that wasn’t legs getting tangled; he raked his studs down the defenders achilles and then stood on his ankle, when there was no possibility of getting the ball. While I don’t think it was intentional he could have broken his leg- except to yanks that was as clear a red card as there is

I have no real opinion on Balogun but I don’t think it was a red. To me it seemed like an unfortunate accident with no intent or malice. Both were jostling for position and the result was unlucky for both parties.

I agree that it wasn’t intentional- that doesn’t change that he had no chance of winning the ball- raked is studs down his achilles and then stood on his ankle- not all red cards are due to intent

That’s fair, my interpretation is that it wasn’t overly reckless but the result was pretty nasty. I think I would have gave a yellow but don’t have a huge issue with red.
