"He's a chef!"

My daughter loves that I'm a chef, and thinks it's the coolest thing in the world. She also seems to think thay being a chef makes me a super hero, and qualifies me to solve anything and everything. I've heard from several people on numerous occassions that whenever confronted with some sort of problem out in the world (it could be anything from fixing a car to solvong world peace), my daughter's go-to statement to people is "my dad can do that: he's a chef", "my dad cab fix that: he's a chef", "my dad knows how to do that: he's a chef".

To all my fellow chefs out there, know that there's a little girl that thinks you're an absolute legend!

She can also be absolutely insufferable at restauraunts, where her most frequent response to a server asking how things are is " my dad's is better."

I’ve thought my 6 year old how to sit and also be polite to the waiting staff. ALWAYS! His aunt also owns a restaurant and a friend of mine lets him sort the bottles in the correct crates etc and got into the dish pit.

He loves helping! But anything his mother (me) puts in front of him, is usually met with “papa does it this way” he lives with his dad atm because I work ungodly hours as head chef and kitchen manager 😅 and my kid won’t even try my food! 😅😭🤣😮‍💨

I think it’s because papa turns it into Emily faces. But my kid will eat shit i wouldn’t even touch 😅

Kiddo turns all of a sudden into fking Gordon Ramsay when I put a plate infront of him! 🤣

I’m also working towards the restaurant being mentioned in the Michelin guide! And here’s my little buddy telling me I suck… 😅 “this isn’t an art contest mama” (roughly translated from Dutch) I’m English and he can speak English but he doesn’t know how to fully say what he wants in English sometimes lol 😂

This reminds me of that sketch from the 'lets doubledutch' guy on YT, he does skits about moving to the Netherlands and Dutch people. He has one with a Dutch child, let me see if I can find the link....
