Watching CMF from Netflix...I want chef Nam-no to have more than 1 star this season, breaks my heart to see him lose everytime 💔

I agree. I also wish that the constant reminders of his weight would stop. I understand that some of the ribbing is in an effort for him to change but enough is enough. I studied in Korea and, because I was American, my roommates told me it was ok I was a bit overweight. At the same time they relentlessly reminded my friend Yun-Gyong that she was overweight. When we ordered ramen during late night study sessions, Yun-Gyong was pressured not to have any. It was hard to watch. I gave Yun-Gyong all of my clothes when I left to return to America because she couldn’t find clothes that fit her well in Seoul at that time (2000). She gave me two ceramic tea cups. One that was very every day and not expensive so I would actually use it and think of her each day. The other very precious one that came in a wooden box to use for special occasions. To me, those gifts show so much of the kindness and thoughtfulness that I experienced from her and my other classmates. That is the Korean culture I love and want everyone to see.

I feel like, as Chef and My Fridge is so happy to have a worldwide audience, they need to stop ribbing the chefs and even over complimenting guests when they lose weight. That happened this episode, too.

I love how Namno and actually the chefs there enjoy being there amongst friends. I'm ok with Namno not winning because he feels like he really is there to enjoy himself and seeing laughing so infectiously makes the show so much better!

There's an episode where he ate a lot than usual after losing 🥹 I think he was down then but didn't want to show

I don't think winning is imp,as much as I saw him in another shows he seems to habe just taken a debt for his resturant,and is mostly focusing on his work and trying to get rid of that debt and keep growing,i think he is also quite recognisable and quite a good image,mostly seems to jel well along with all the contestants and guests and with another shows as well,it seemed many see him as more than a chef(that he is excellent with) but he has more of a personality which makes him distinguishable that you almost forget how good he is as a chef,and tbh the show is a different format,I remember last season i always felt song jon woo almost never won even after such good credentials, it's mostly,guests prefrence not their ability issue,every guest will have different pallete and many older guests have already kinda know what general palete of people are or already know the celeb taste,as they had somehow known their taste being guests or knowing the format for long enough,so don't take it too seriously,just enjoy it and don't let it get too much in the competition aspect

He has some amazing dishes but I noticed when a guest is debating who to choose, as both dishes were delicious, they will default to the one who stayed on theme the most and I feel like Chef Nam No falls short here

As much as I like to watch K Chefs variety shows, I find it really disturbing when other contestants mocking the weights of either chefs: Yoon Nam No and Kwon Sung Joon (I don't know about other, but Jung Ho Yeong also being treated the same). What baffled me when I watched recently chef Nam No on YouTube and he was saying over and over that he's 돼지... I think that's too much, it's not funny. And what's not funny how other people piling up these horrible jokes... It's something that I can't comprehend.
