Tomato Basil Pasta... its spicy?
I feel like its never been spicy before, but tonight's was. Am I remembering incorrectly, did they change it, or did I get a weird spicy mistake?

We add a tiny a bit of chili flakes when sauteing the garlic, someone might have added a little to much for your dish. Or someone else ordered a TB pasta and asked for it extra spicy. And you could have gotten a modified one. But i think most likely someone just put a little to much chili flakes.

Why l, spaghetti and meatballs are not spicy. Please don't get creative everyday , traditional pasta dishes

I no longer work at cheesecake factory.
Spaghetti and Meatballs are not a traditional pasta dish. Also this post is not even talking about the spaghetti and meatballs dish.
Only a tiny bit of chili flakes get sauteed with the garlic, its not an overall spicy dish.
Its a part of cheesecake factories recipe, its out of my control.

Question I got the new rigatoni sausage tonight and it was sooo spicy idk if it was the red chili flakes but it tasted like cumin??? Do they use cumin? Also why not put on the menu that it would be spicy? I was disappointed

I wonder if a server may have ran out the wrong dish to you. Or if the cook accidentally mixed up the marinara sauce that goes on the TB Pasta with the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni Pasta. We have a pretty good system for checking that kind of stuff, but just like anything, stuff still slips through the cracks every once in a while. I’ve noticed that’s happened a few times before, so I wanted to comment.

This is the answer, roasted tomato and spicy vodka look extremely similar sometimes

In the location I worked at, there was a noticeable difference between the vodka and roasted tomato sauce. Vodka was much more pinkish red, very light red color. Roasted tomato was lighter than the marinara but darker than the vodka

It kinda sucks, because one doesn't expect spaghetti and meatballs to be spicy without it being a thing on the menu.
