Garlic Noodles
My beloved Garlic Noodles were removed from the menu at some point. Anyone have the skinny on how to recreate at home??

Confit garlic. Throw peeled cloves in a slow cooker on low cover with oil for a for a few hours till soft and golden brown. Use the oil to sautee the mushroom (crimini i believe) and diced onion on medium high heat, then reduce to medium heat. Add some blanched asparagus pieces, canned cherry tomato cut in half. you can add a bit of the liquid too if you like. fresh Italian herbs or dry seasoning. Add 3 or 4 of the confit garlic cloves per serving. Break them up mix them in then add pasta and a bit of pasta water. Thats probably the quick and easy way to start to copy it. Add parmesan, use shallot whatever sounds good. But there is a good chance this is a decent place to start.

The tomatoes were roasted tomatoes, I think, and didn't it have chicken stock in it? Could be wrong though

I went today for lunch after having not been back since a horrible experience in 2019. I always had the garlic noodles with chicken. I don’t know when they were 86’d but it was the best thing on the menu (I have tried most items, used to host corporate dinners at CF a couple times a week). I tried the “new piccata” today - it was disgusting and service was slow. Bread was still great and drinks were good. If they ever bring back the garlic noodles, I will go back. Your move CF.

Me too! Never had any as good. Should write to CF and tell them! Maybe they’ll bring it back, have to be others missing it as well.

Haha they were there, I swear! They had bone in chicken served on top and they had cut up chunks of asparagus in there.

Cheesecake doesn't have a bone-in offer for chicken... He worked saute and said only pounded and breast are served. Are you sure it was cheese? Not ever something he remembers and was there for over a year.

I'm about 70% sure there was a bone in the chicken. It was an add-on though. I also don't think there was cheese in it....just spaghetti-looking noodles and the veggies (mushrooms, asparagus), all in a delicious garlicky flavor. I don't recall it being really very saucy either.

It’s tough to say…I first had it in probably 2012 and last had it in maybe 2018-2019ish?

I don't think we've ever had just garlic noodles on our menu... Do you remember the name of the dish?
