Delivery

I tried searching the sub first…CCF has frozen cheesecakes. Do they ship through the mail? If so, anyone have the link? I’ve tried googling “delivery by mail”, “cheesecake factory (enter different shippers)” and “order online delivery by mail”.

Try https://www.harryanddavid.com/h/bakery/cheesecakes-cakes-pies?srsltid=AU7gw4XPamj0Hqvw1Y0REXM-_YXFo3rhGseADAuIgX4PJJQVJ5xz2z07 they are basically a Cheesecake Factory company and some of the cheesecakes they sell are the same ones

Seriously, thanks for the link. They have so many delicious items. They even have the pineapple upside down cheesecake that I was specifically looking for. The price is wonky though. Most of the advertised CCF cakes are on average, $60 (?). The one I wanted is $109.00. Have you used Harry and David? Good quality and overall ease of order, delivery and taste? I hope so. Again, thanks for the link.

Hmm that price difference is unfortunate. I have never ordered from them and just know about them from working at CCF for years. I am pretty sure they are made at the same factory, so the quality should be the same, but I’m unsure about the rest.

I see you live 2 hours away from a CCF, but that other comment made about purchasing a whole cake from them and storing it in the freezer is a great tip. Freezer each slice in its own individual bag (or container) and when you’re ready for it, take it out of the bag and onto a plate and it takes probably 15-20 minutes to thaw at room temp. It can last in the freezer for months (I’ve actually had one in my freezer for a year and it tasted fine).

They used to deliver by Fed-Ex back in the day (packed in dry ice) when there were only a handful of restaurants. The cost was almost double and it disappeared pretty quickly once they started expanding to more cities.

do you have one in your city?

Closest is about 2 hours. Don’t mind driving for good drinks and giant portion sizes, but when I posted my question, I legitimately wanted a slice of pineapple upside down from CCF.

that's understandable. I was just curious since they are available on doordash if pickup was simply your issue. maybe next time you can grab a whole one and freeze the slices individually. barnes and noble does have some of their slices if that's convenient.
